Ruth,
I've looked my life long for evidence of a sane politician. The
proposition, I think, is on a par with Diogenes' quest. At least Italy is
honest about its craziness. Here in the US we try to pretend rationality
resides among politicians and the result is tragically comical. Or just
plain tragic--it's not really funny anymore.
