a-and artificial sweeteners about which popular parlance and bywords
haven't completely caught up --

- millions of similes, tropes, etc about sugar

- a few about saccharine - "saccharine smile", "revenge is sweet,
saccharine sweet" usw

- none that i know of about cyclamates

- nor sucralose nor aspartame
