When (and how) does the Mason & Dixon group reading begin?

I read the occasional book on the kindle paperwhite. Bleeding edge was one
of them; I looked at those notes and cringed a little. The notes thing is
easy enough but feels unnatural. There are less options on the kindle due
to the so called e-ink. Basically you hold for a fraction of a second,
highlight, then click "note" and type it in, slowly since there is a very
noticeable input delay. To find one you ha e to look at the notes list but
it gives you a short segment to read in order find it along with "location"
number. Easier to write with a pen in a separate notebook or smash them
with fingers into my phone's note-taking app. I just use my phone nowadays
for regular books, kindle books, and now audiobooks too since I started
enjoying those lately. The thing with the audiobooks though is that I don't
know how to determine the page number unless I have the title on the kindle
too and can search the text.
