The movie

My wife and I saw the Inherent Vice tonight. I thought it was brilliant.
She did too, but fell asleep a couple of times, which is normal for her.

The theater was practically empty. Oh well.

Things I especially liked:

   - The casting. All of it, but especially the parts of Doc, Shasta Fay,
   Coy, and Bigfoot.
   - Giving the voice-over to Shasta Fay.
   - Best.Sex.Scene.Ever!

I can die happy now that I've seen a Tom Pynchon book made into a good
movie. Even though I wonder what I would have thought if I hadn't read the
book.
