Thanks to Mark and everyone for a great start.  Good energy.Started reading through the M&D posts and am really enjoying the variety of literary and historic input. I have been insulating and replacing some siding on the west wall of my house, noodling around with quigong and reading James Risen's new book in what little spare time I make. So it was fun last night after too much Sunday coffee to read and think and respond to some of the posts. 
   I'lll be participating when I can.  I like the low key respectful tone and hope I will contribute to that.  -
