I should have said "Eartoon"
It was a BBC radio series in which Blegvad did the intellecutal voice over
while all kinds of effects were happening with the recording. It was high
brow and crazy at the same time. If I remember correctly, he was doing
something like using the left speaker as his spoken voice and the right
speaker as his inner monologue. Both voices sounded the same, but their
position indicated the perspective.
All the Eartoons were archived on BBC a while back but I never 'hoarded'
them, thinking I could always listen on line. Now I see they've even been
scrubbed from Spotify 'mix tapes'
Maybe someone on this list speaks to Peter Blegvad and we could find out
where to find Eartoons

CD that exhibited much of the cleverness that would eventually become
