Passe for you over the pond, but we finally got to see the film last night.
Clare is not a P fan, tried GR and BE but moved on to preferred leisures
after a couple of chapters. We both thoroughly enjoyed it and Clare
reckoned all this talk of plot confusion and vagueness was nonsense.
And I thought all the cast were excellent, the voice-over was just the
right tone and it wasn't too long at all. There were lots of shots which
would make beautiful photos, I really really want a big copy of the Last
Supper scene to go on my wall.
Trivia corner - the T-shirt I thought was probably the top half of a SF
Poster Company poster - there is a website somewhere with details if not
pix of them all - brief pause and duh - a search for 'Country Joe Iron
Butterfly poster' gets
http://www.classicposters.com/Country_Joe_and_the_Fish/poster/Art_of_Rock/3.159
Merriweather Post Pavillion, Columbia, MD 8/24/68 being the gig - yours
for $750!!
What is the geographical equivalent of an anachronism called!
Apologies if I missed this in the earlier debate.
Now to identify the two Krazy Kat Sunday pages on Doc's fridge!
cheers
Mike
