Broommaker: a Heinrich Boll story of (part of) GR similarity.

Heinrich Boll was a favorite writer of mine when coming of intellectual
age. Lately I have been reading some of his earliest stories passed over
earlier. The insight into your average
soldier near the end of the war wanting his country to lose, the war to be
over, the emptiness, the fear still ongoing, is memorable and poignant.

And there is this story. Four pages long. With screams from the sky and
math as metaphor and a preterite in a bad way.
