For once the Alt-Left, Anti-Democratic Party wing of our Wingnut Nation is
absolutely right about this single vote, spiking-the-ball win in Virginia.
It was early racist, war-criminal, lying, CIA complicit, Trump-like
vulgarian Democratic President Lyndon Johnson who is responsible for having
to eke it out. He knew it too, saying when he passed the greatest victory
for human rights in the US since the Emancipation Proclamation,  known as
the Civil Rights Act(s) that " I will turn the South Republican for at
least a generation".  He was an optimist.

just the last election one vote shy of veto-proof and a sure thing vote for
a Constitutional Converntion. (Do we all know what that *even means *in
horrible outcome.?) Read Democracy in Chains and find out, I urge.
