NP - End of Year Movies: Unseen Gems Edition

It’s a clever look at the black experience (as with you, I say that as
someone completely unqualified to comment); I think the central idea’s so
good that critics have been forgiving of some of the film’s more cliched
moments of execution, but nevertheless its a strong film and captures many
of the governing concerns of contemporary US politics.
