NP - Chemical Weapons Used in Syria... (or WERE they?)

Glad you took the time to make up your own mind. Seriously.

I am convinced that the scene is staged (although "if you believe this,
you'll believe anything" was taking it a little too far). If this is
indeed the case, it is of course designed to produce exactly the
visceral reaction you show. To make you go blind with rage is the raison
d'etre of atrocity propaganda. You may want to think about this.

Two circumstantial items:

1) The allegations against the BBC are very serious and should be easy
to disprove if they were false. Television and radio producer Victor
Lewis Smith asked the BBC to show him the rushes of the incriminated
"Panorama" broadcast. The BBC couldn't or wouldn't provide them.

2) 'In a BBC Newsnight report of 11 August 2014 Dr Saleyha Ahsan, one of
the two British doctors featured in ‘Saving Syria’s Children’, described
“how British Army medical services prepare for deployment using HOSPEX”
(Hospital Exercises), a “macro-simulation replicating exactly the
conditions medics will face in the field”. Dr Ahsan states:

“The principle behind ‘macro simulation’ is that it’s as close to
reality as possible. Actors and make-up artists mimic even the most
severe of injuries”.'

(...)

'In the report Dr Ahsan states that the officer in charge of the
operation [the simulation exercise, TE], Brigadier Kevin Beaton, was her
squadron commander in Bosnia and inspired her to study medicine.'

'The company which provided the highly sophisticated injury simulations
featured in the Newsnight report is Trauma FX, which proudly claims to
be “UK’s leading provider of realistic casualty simulation”.'

There are pictures of the HOSPEX exercise on Robert Stuart's site. They
are hard to stomach because they look very real. These photos of fake
victims are then compared to photos of supposedly authentic victims from
the school which Dr. Ahsan had accidentally visited one year earlier
with the Ian Pannell's BBC "Panorama" team -- only a few hours after the
Syrian Army supposedly attacked it with incendiary bombs or CW. You may
want to compare and contrast.

P.S. The second British doctor on the scene is Dr. Rola Hallam, the
daughter of a senior figure in the Syrian National Council – a major
force in the campaign to remove Assad.
