That jbor sure did hate him some zoyd and frenesi!

But zoyd isn't a welfare cheat, rather it's part of the contract with Vond to do something crazy each year, which he didn't really have a choice in signing. 

And Frenesi, well she got in over her head and the repercussions just kept going on and on and on, but it reminds me of someone like Shulamith Firestone, requiescat in pace, whose feminism was so insightful and inspiring and creative - and then by various mechanisms she got downtrodden but lived for years and years in a quite different mode after that. If you think that was all deserved due to her character flaws, I ask you sir, at long last, have you no sympathy?
