I might say that she allows the uncertainty of her feelings, her changing
feelings therefore many changing thoughts--so often we hear of her
instincts---so she learns more of herself every
chapter.......like most of us but not in her dangerous, adventurous,
exploratory way...Yes, I agree, TRP created a rich, rich emotionally
"contradictory' character.
