GR translation: her affliction was more direct

Here is what Neptune being afflicted means:

"Manifestations. Illusions and deception. Neptune's influence, when
afflicted, can lead to a tendency to be easily deceived or to engage in
self-deception, resulting in confusion. Exhaustion and sleep-disturbances."

Hence whose isn't?

Her "more direct, purer, clearer" affliction is Pynchon saying "she lives
on another planet" in that colloquial phrase...
