In some ways the fat  and satisfied with shlocky music  makes more sense, because if the concert halls are stuffed full how would it be that nobody goes to them?  Also Saure is referred to as having hairless babyfat arms. Of course maybe the halls are full but not for music concerts, but no mention of other uses; only the undesirable audiences who prefer Rossini to Beethoven.
