Cool, finally! I've been hoping someone would praise vol III.
I haven't read them, they sit waiting, and all the boos and hisses about
III have been making me wonder.
I'm currently reading East of Eden by John Steinbeck, but the
best book I read last year, by far, was The Marx Family Saga by Juan
Goytisolo. It's short, you can read it in a few hours, and truly
astounding. If you like that, read his The Virtues Of The Solitary Bird.
